A USB port is disabled to use the card reader. We must disconnect the card reader to the resume.

To open the casing, unscrew the 4 screws located under the deck.
Follow the pattern shown on the surface of the plate below which specifies the location on the hard disk depending on its size (2.5 or 3.5 inches).

Warning: when formatting the internal drive of the turntable, it is formatted as Linux. For the recognition by Windows, install the program "Ext2ISF available on our website:

Remote
Main keys on the remote (see diagram on previous page):

1) POWER
The button On / Off red at the top left of the remote allows you to pause the player.
To switch off the player, use the switch on the rear of the enclosure. In case of problems, to restart the player, use the switch to switch off the turntable, then switch (reboot).

2) FILE MODE
After a choice of media source and a position in a file, pressing the button file mode shows an icon on the file (add to the list). choose the destination file mode and then this menu:

- Add file to the list
- Copy the selected items
- Move the selected items
- Delete all selected items
- Delete list
- Create a directory
- Rename file

Be aware that some of these functions are only valid as a hard disk formatted Ext2 (Linux).

3) SETUP
In file mode, press to access the menu settings of platinum.
In playback mode, press to access the menu settings in embedding video on the video during playback.

Settings available:
- Brightness
- Contrast
- Color
- Saturation

The default is set to 50.

4) SUSPEND (BT)
This button is for future use.

5) PgUp / Vol + /
In menu mode, this button allows you to spend the next page.
In audio or video, press to increase the volume.

6) EJECT
In the case where an external DVD player is connected to USB 2.0 on the turntable, press to open or close the tray.

7) TV MODE
This button lets you change video modes. To use, follow these steps:
1. Press the TV MODE button.
2. After releasing the MODE button TV, press a key between 0 and 9.

- TV MODE + 0 = Auto Mode
- TV + 1 MODE = Mode NTSC video
- FASHION TV Mode + 2 = PAL video
- FASHION TV Mode + 7 = 60 Hz 720p
- FASHION TV Mode + 8 = 60 Hz 1080i

This key is very useful. Indeed, if the boot image is not displayed it is possible that the current video setup is not supported by your broadcaster. TV MODE button allows you to temporarily change the video mode. Note that the activation of a TV using the TV MODE button is not registered and will be cleared on the next restart of the platinum. To do so, once the image has appeared on your distributor, it is recommended to save your TV mode via the video settings menu.

8) MUTE
Can cut the sound. To reactivate the sound, press the Mute button.

9) PgDown/Vol-
In menu mode, this button allows to move the previous page.
In audio or video, this button reduces the volume.

10) 1.: / @
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "1 .:/@". In playback mode, this button allows access to 10% of the total file.

11) 2abc
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "2abc. In playback mode, this button allows access to 20% of the total file.

12) 3def
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "3def. In playback mode, this button allows access to 30% of the total file.

13) 4ghi
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "4ghi. In playback mode, this button allows access to 40% of the total file.

14) 5jkl
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "5jkl. In playback mode, this button allows access to 50% of the total file.

15) 6mno
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "6mno. In playback mode, this button allows access to 60% of the total file.

16) 7pqrs
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "7pqrs. In playback mode, this button allows access to 70% of the total file.

17) 8tuv
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "8tuv. In playback mode, this button allows access to 80% of the total file.

18) 9wxyz
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "9wxyz. In playback mode, this button allows access to 90% of the total file.

19) DELETE
In entry mode, this button allows you to delete the last character entered.
Mode files, this button will delete the selected file.

20) 0_
In entry mode, this button will return the following characters in SMS mode: "0" and "space".

21) CAPS / NUM
In entry mode, this button allows you to move in large print or digital.

22) RETURN
Mode files and in HTML mode, this button will return to the previous page.

23) SOURCE
This button is for future use.

24) DIRECTIONAL KEYS
In menus, the arrows can move the selection cursor in all directions.
In file mode, the directional buttons up and down to move from one file to another.
In playback mode, the arrow keys left and right to advance or decline of 1% of the total file.

25) ENTER
In the menus, this key is used to validate a current selection.
Mode files, this button will start playback of a selected file.

26) INFO
In file mode, press to get information about the selected file. In playback mode, this button will display some information about reading and the type of file being played. At the first press of the button is the "Timeline" (time line) with an indication of the total duration of the film and the current position.
Clicking a second time on the info button, you can access comprehensive information about the file being played:

- The video container,
- The video codec,
- The audio codec,
- The resolution of the file and its ratio,
- The connection used,
- The output resolution active
- The frequency display,
- Ratio display.

27) HOME
In menu mode, this button allows to return to home page

28) MENU
In file mode, this button takes you back to the menu selection of media.

29) PREV
In DVD mode, press to go to the previous chapter.
When playing the file, press to access the previous file and start playing it.

30) PLAY
In file mode, this button will start playing the selected file.
In playback mode, if the pause, slow motion or accelerated is active, this button allows you to read the file at normal speed.

31) NEXT
In DVD mode, press to go to the next chapter.
When playing the file, press to access the file below and start playing it.

32) TITLE / URL
In DVD mode, press to access the "Title".
File or in HTML mode, this button will put the cursor in the bar path.

33) REV
In playback mode, press to activate the rewind. By repeatedly pressing the button, the speed accelerates. The rewind modes are: 2X 4X or 8X. To disable the prompt return, press the PLAY button.
Attention: the rapid return is not supported on. M2ts and other file types.

34) STOP
In playback mode, press to stop playback and return to files.

35) FWD
In playback mode, press to activate fast forward. By repeatedly pressing the button, the speed accelerates. Modes of fast forward are: 2X 4X or 8X. To disable the prompt return, press the PLAY button.

36) REPEAT / REFRESH
In playback mode, this button allows you to repeat the file or the current play list.
Mode or HTML files, this button will refresh the page.

37) ANGLE
DVD playback mode, this button lets you change any angle if the DVD contains both the multi-angles.

38) PAUSE
In playback mode, this button allows you to save the file to break. To restart playback, press PLAY.

39) SLOW
In playback mode, this button allows you to slow down the playback of the file. 3 positions are proposed: 1 / 2, 1 / 4 and 1 / 8.

40) SEARCH
In playback mode, this function (Seek) provides access to a precise moment. Use the number keys to enter the time of your choice.
The input field is as follows: "--:--:--"
The first 2 digits are the hours, the following 2 minutes and 2 seconds are. For 1h., 32 min. and 2 sec. Enter the following data: "01:32:02".

AUDIO
In playback mode, this button can change the audio track as long as the file has several. Press the button to switch from one audio track to another.

SUBTITLES
In playback mode, this button can change the subtitle for little if the file is provided. Pressing once on the subtitle button and pressing the direction buttons, you can change the following parameters:
Color,
Size,
Time shift.

ZOOM
The Zoom button lets you adjust the ratio of current frame of video playback.
Clicking repeatedly on the "zoom", it passes successively from a ratio to another:

- Actual Size
- Full Screen
- 4 / 3 Letter Box
- 4 / 3 Pan Scan
- 16/9e
- 16/10e

VIDEO
In file mode, press to access the Video menu. In this mode, only video files are displayed.

MUSIC
In file mode, press to access the Audio menu. In this mode, only audio files are displayed.

PHOTO
In file mode, press to access the Photo menu. In this mode, only the photo files and images are displayed.

FILES
In file mode, press to access the files. This is the mode to use for text or HTML files.


Connections

1. Before starting the turntable, start by connecting the video cable (HDMI, Y / Pb / Pr or Composite video).
2. Then plug the cable's SPDIF (digital audio optical or coaxial) or analog (red and white) to your amp. If you use an HDMI compatible amplifier, you do not have to plug its cable.
3. Make sure the power cord is connected to both the casing on one side and the transformer (12V). This must be properly connected to a 220V outlet.
4. If you want to use a PC or NAS network, connect a network cable to the Ethernet port of the platinum on one side and a switch or router Ethernet on the other. This cable can be banche and unplugged at any time including when the lock is turned on. There is no risk of short circuit. Note however that it is possible that the connection does not. In this case, it is necessary to restart the plate as explained above.
5. If you want to use a USB device (USB flash drive, external hard drive) connect it to a USB port. It is recommended to use USB 2.0 devices certified for better performance.
6. Start by pressing the lock switch on the sector on the back of the deck.


Start

At startup, a blue LED lights. A pause (Power button on the remote), the LED goes red.
The deck starts in about 50 seconds. A logo appears during boot loading.

Once the player starts, a menu of media choices is whether a hard drive is mounted in the platinum or connected to USB.
Otherwise, there is simply a side menu with the following menus:

- Media Source
- Web Services
- Setup

Menus

1) Source Media
Provides access to the media. Clicking on a local drive or network, it accesses a menu with the option of following contents:
- Video
- Photo
- Music
- Files (to be used to display HTML files or files updated firmware)

2) Web Services
A multitude of online services are available including
- Video (YoutTube, Cnet, ...)
- Audio (Web Radio)
- Photo (Picasa Flirck ...)
- RSS (weather, horoscope ...)
- What's new (news)

3) Setup
In this menu are the following submenus:
a - Home (Home)
b - Preferences
c - Audio / Video
d - Network (Network)
e - Sharing Network (Network Share)
f - DVD / Audio CD
g - Maintenance

a - Home (Home) Returns to main menu.

b - Preferences
In this submenu are the following options:

- Language: choose the menu language. The french and English are available from a wide range of languages.
- Subtitle Language: allows you to choose the default language for subtitles.
- Video Zoom: You can set the default ratio among "current size", "Full screen", "4:3 Letterbox", "4:3 Pan Scan", "16:9", "16:10".
- Playback Mode: Allows you to set the repetition of reading among "Repeat off", "Repeat once", "Repeat All."
- Transition Photo: allows you to set transitions between photos.
- Interval Photos: You can set the delay between each slide in a slideshow.
Screen saver: You can set the time for triggering the screen saver.
- RC Key Repeat
- Viewing

c - Audio / Video

Video outpout

The HDX1000 can set the resolution and the output frequency from a wide choice. Resolutions are sorted by connections to facilitate research. The list of resolutions available may change depending on the firmware.

HDMI Audio
Can transmit audio via HDMI. To activate the option, select "ON".

Surround Mode
If you use a Home Cinema amplifier, select "5.1". Otherwise, select the "stereo".

Audio Mode
For each audio format (DTS, AC3, AAC, WMA Pro), it is possible to set the HDX. In choosing the setting "Digital (RAW), the HDX sends the raw decoded signal. This parameter is used in the case of using a Home Cinema amplifier. Choosing Analog (PCM) "deck decodes the audio signal.

d - Network (Network)
The deck has a mode of automatic detection of network (DHCP). To use DHCP requires that your home network has a router. Some set-top boxes as the Freebox to play the role of router.
If you do not have a router you can manually set the IP address of the IP HDX1000 Fixed.

The platinum servers automatically recognize "Myihome", "Wizd" Hello! "And" SMB ". The "NFS" (our recommendation) must be configured manually.

To configure the board fixed IP address:
1. Select "Auto IP Wired" in the "Mode".
2. Click the "Configure IP.
3. Enter information about your local network configuration.
- IP Address (IP address)
- Subnet Mask (Subnet Mask)
- Gateway (Gateway: IP of your router)
- Primary DNS (Primary DNS: only useful for Internet)
- Secondary DNS (DNS Secondary: only useful for Internet)

e - Sharing Network (Network Share)
This feature allows you to use platinum as a NAS: ie you can access the internal hard drive of your computer from a plate placed on the same LAN. To do this, you must install an internal hard drive in platinum.
In HDX1000, you must first enable the sharing services.
We also need HDX1000 is connected to the LAN. Once that is done, locate the IP address of your HDX in "Network" and write there.
1) Go to your PC network and do: "Start" then "Run." Run the control panel opens. In the "Open" field, enter the IP address of your HDX1000 (that you have taken care to note), preceded by "\ \". Thus, if the IP address of your HDX platinum is "192.168.1.4", you must enter "\ \ 192.168.1.4". OK.
2) If you request a username and password, enter: user: "nmt" password "1234".
3) Now go to "My Network", locate your HDX1000 platinum. Write "right-click on the icon, then click" Map Network Drive ".
4) Select a letter representing your platinum.
5) Your plate is now in "My Computer".

BitTorrent
BitTorrent is a customer service network that can download content to your internal drive platinum HDX.
To use this service on the deck, go to "Settings" then "Applications NMT. A list of applications NMT appears. Click the "Settings Torrent" at the bottom of the page. Enter the required parameters and click "Save."
To load torrent files, place them on a USB key or hard drive.
Connect the key or USB hard disk on the turntable. On the main page of the HDX, click on the disk or key displayed. On the selection of media, click the 4th icon (file). Find the torrent file and run it by clicking it. At the confirmation window, click "Yes." The download window appears. If the download does not start automatically, click the checkmark to the left of the desired file and click "Start". If the download does not start, check your network connection.
Attention: This service is not available if you have not installed a hard drive. Please refer to "Formatting the drive and install software."

NFS: To use the NFS Server, enter the menu Sharing Network. In the page displayed, click the "Add" button. In the "Name", enter the name of your choice. In the URL field, enter the URL in the following form: "NFS: / / AdresseIP: / Non_du_Répertoire.

f - DVD / Audio CD
This menu allows you to configure the parental control (disable or value from 1 to 8), automatic playback of DVDs, language and subtitles by default.

g - Maintenance
This menu allows you to update the firmware. It is preferable to load the file manually update the platinum.

Flac 24/96: incompatible
DTS audio: it is necessary to rename files with DTS Audio. Mp3 for the assumption by the platinum.

Photo Play
The player is compatible with all major codecs to photo: JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP.
The housing is equipped with a card reader SDHC compatible SDCard.
SDCard The reader uses an internal USB connectors. To use all the USB connectors, you should disconnect the memory card reader and reconnect the USB port desired.

Subtitles
In the settings menu, you can choose the subtitle language by default. A very large number of languages is supported with the French language. Fonts are managed in vector, which allows a perfect view.

Formatting the disk and software installation
To install the NMT applications, you must install a firmware corresponding to the applications and format the disk format in Linux.

1. Download the firmware and applications on the official site: www.hdx1080.com
2. Unzip files and copy them onto a USB stick.
3. Insert the USB key into the USB port on the bottom.
4. In the HDX1000 menu, open the key.
5. In billboard media selection, click the last icon (4th).
6. Locate and run the file "usbupdate.html.
7. Validez to launch the installation process.
8. Wait for the process and let the player will restart (reboot).
9. After restarting the player, go to Settings / and click Maintenance Wizard of NMT. OK.
10. Choose the internal drive (normally there is only one).
11. Click "Next" then select "Ext3" and Click "Next."
12. Click Next to choose the installation source (online or USB).
13. Select "USB" and click "Next." Wait until the end then let the player restart (reboot).
Your disk is now formatted in ext3 and software are installed.

Getting the hard drive formatted in EXT3 your NMT platinum on your PC
1. Ext2IFS download the freeware from our website (. Rar).
2. Unzip the file. Rar. If you do not have compression software WinRar, download and install it (or an equivalent compatible software). WinRar is shareware.
3. Once the file. Rar unpacked, double-click the file "Ext2IFS_1_11a.
4. If your firewall alerts you, allow the software to get started.
5. At the window "Welcome", click "Next".
6. At the window "License", check "I agree" and click "Next".
7. At the window "Read-Only Option," do not check and click "Next".
8. At the window "UTF-8 Encoding", do not uncheck and click "Next".
9. At the window "Large File Feature", do not uncheck and click "Next".
10. Wait until the files are installed
11. At the window "Drive Letters", select a drive letter to your platinum and click "Next".
12. At the window "readme", click "Next".
13. At the window "Finished", click "Finish".
Your disk should now mount on your file explorer on the PC with the letter you have chosen. If this is not the case, restart the computer.

You can organize your files as you want within your hard drive.
For example, you can put a "wedding video" and you will see the platinum record during scanning.

Use on MAC
For Mac users, we recommend the following software:
- NTFS for MAC, to mount an NTFS partition.
- EXTFS for MAC, to mount an EXT3 partition.
