La procédure de mise à jour firmware est une opération risquée. Il est impératif de ne pas couper l'alimentation ou d'éteindre le matériel avant la fin de la procédure sous peine d'endommager fortement l'appareil. Il est recommandé d'utiliser un onduleur. En cas de plantage au cours de la mise à jour, il existe des solutions de "recovery firmware" (voir sections du forum dédiées aux machines).
